Food Recommendations while at AFIP
Directions to AFIP (Walter Reed Medical Center)
Take the Metro Red line to the Takoma Station.
Exit the station, and walk underneath the rails. You will reach an intersection, continue straight up the hill (the BP gas station will be on your right side). At the top of the hill, cut across the school grounds. Once you have crossed the school grounds, you will see the top of WRAMC hospital.
Enter Walter Reed (don't forget ID). Continue walking in the same direction, and pass the WRAMC hospital (it will be on your right side). The brick building immediately across from the hospital loading dock is the AFIP building. To get inside, you need to turn right on the road at the hospital dock, then walk up the stairs on your left. You'll then be standing at the outside entrance to AFIP.
Housing Recommendations
The Metro is your friend! It is entirely unnecessary to have a car. The Metro system is incredibly efficient.
Fun areas of town to live in are Foggy Bottom, Dupont Circle, and Adams Morgan.
Attache Properties: Ian, George and Jason found a great place using these guys. They are hesitant to deal with you until just before the house is available. We managed to get 2429 Eye Street, which was phenomenal.
